is a strand in Senior High School where students who want to take the courses; Marketing, Accountancy, Entrepreneurship, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Management Accounting, Human Resource Development Management, and any other courses in college that is related to this strand. If your planned course or career is under in this strand, this track is may be for you! This Senior High School Strand will introduce you to the fundamentals of business, accounting, marketing, and economics. It will also provide you skills and knowledge in line with the organization management.
Being an ABM Student isn't easy. You have to be ready for a lot of school tasks/activities. You must be ready physically, emotionally, and mentally for you to be able to survive in this strand. They say the ABM strand is one of the most difficult strands in Senior High School among the other offered strands because it also focuses on numbers like STEM but their differences is that STEM focuses on Science while ABM focuses on Accounting and Business Management. Being an ABM student is fun. There are a lot of new things that you will learn. You will meet new people, and you will be able to explore. But despite those things, there are also hardships and struggles that you might face along the way. At first, we might think to give up but it is just in the beginning maybe because you are adjusting to the subjects and the things that the professors ask you to do but when the time comes when you adapt to the environment, it will be slightly easier unlike in the beginning. One of the struggles is having difficulty in time management. There are a lot of activities, tasks, and assignments that the teachers will give. You need to know what you should do first and also when you are going to study. Procrastinating is not advisable to do. Do not waste your time. If you have time, do it and do not wait for tomorrow. Decision-making is a challenge to students because they need to look into it more deeply. They must know how to make good and intelligent decisions in order to become a good entrepreneur.
